Year 2 Class Arrangements Autumn Term 2009
Dear Parents,
A warm welcome to you and your child/children.
I would like to confirm the following arrangements for our class this term :
- P.E. – P.E days are Wednesday and Friday .Leggings or jogging bottoms are required for outdoor games. Long hair should be tied back on P.E. day or alternatively please leave a hair bobble in school.
- Wellies – a pair of wellies is needed in school at all times for exploring – if not already in school.
- Water Bottles – polite reminder that water bottles should only contain water for drinking throughout the day – fruit juices and squash are not allowed in the classroom
- Jewellery – Please be aware that the school’s Health and Safety policy discourages jewellery. In particular please ensure that earrings are not worn on a Wednesday or Friday for Dance and P.E.
- Reading Books - Your child will read in class and additionally will receive a Home Reading Book each week. Please bring book bags into school every Monday.
- Show and Tell – I would like to strongly discourage children from regularly bringing toys etc in from home as I am concerned about potential damage / loss. However, special items e.g. objects from a birthday / holiday can be shared on a Monday – this is a choice, not a requirement
- Fruit Tuck – Cost £1 per week to be paid on a Thursday. Please write name and fruit selection (apple / orange / banana / raisins) on the envelope for the following week’s fruit tuck.
