16 Oct 2009 - Football and Netball Team Success

Eagleswell Football and Netball Teams put in fantastic performances against Plas Newydd Primary School on Friday afternoon.  Mr Watkins brought down 2 netball and 2 football teams from his school in Maesteg, where he has resumed his place as Headteacher.  It was an exciting afternoon with great competition and good spirit.

The netball team was victorious, with a convincing 5 - 1 win - the smart new netball strips definitely adding to our confidence (Big thanks to Miss Tudor and Mrs Skucek for sorting out a kit so quickly).

The football teams won 1 match, drew one and lost 2 ..........  all games were fast paced and well battled. 

All children should be very proud of their efforts and special thanks to the parents and friends who supported the school and cheered the teams on!  Go Eagleswell!!!!!
